Here is some inspiration for you to bake:

Sugar-Free Butter Cookies

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Refrigeration Time: 45 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups of flour
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 17 tbs of butter
  • 2/3 cup of Splenda
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Use a whisk to mix the flour and salt together in a bowl.
  2. Next, in a different mixing bowl, cream together the butter and Splenda using a medium speed.
  3. Add the flour and salt to the mixing bowl. Then beat in the egg, add the extract and mix into a dough.
  4. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes
  5. When you’re ready to bake the cookies, preheat the oven to 175°C and prep your trays with baking paper. Use cookie cutters to cut the dough into different shapes.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges to a light brown colour.
  7. Allow your cookies to cool and set.

Sugar-Free Chocolate Brownies

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of vegetable oil butter spread; buttery spread
  • 2 cups of Splenda
  • ½ of cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, bleached
  • ½ tsp of leavening agents, baking powder
  • ½ tsp of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C and grease your baking pan.
  2. Mix melted butter spread, cocoa powder, Splenda, vanilla extracts, eggs, flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl. Stir until the mixture is thick.
  3. Pour evenly into the baking pan and bake for 20 minutes. Check on the brownies by inserting a toothpick or fork in the centre.
  4. Leave to cool and cut into serving pieces.’
